Nurse Actually is a minority nurse owned and operated company. Established in 2017, our passion is to bring joy to nurses, the people they encounter, and the profession by providing fun and unique products and gifts for everyday use.
The Team
Nurse Actually is made up of a small team of nurse professionals dedicated to inspiring, motivating, and empowering nurses and other healthcare professionals to make their own personal statements both on and off the job.
About Kescia
Owner Kescia D. Gray is a board-certified Registered Nurse, author, and entrepreneur with 20+ years’ experience primarily in pediatric critical care. She started Nurse Actually because she liked how accessories and novelty items could not only dress up basic scrubs, add fun and whimsy to a uniform, but could also be a great conversation starter. When she is not hard at work, she spends her free time volunteering on medical missions and traveling the globe.
